About the Journal
The Journal of Kerbala for Agricultural Sciences (JKAS)® is an international open-access journal that publishes peer-reviewed, full-research articles quarterly, encompassing fundamental and applied aspects of agricultural sciences. Since its inception in 2013, JKAS has been diligently curated by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board within the defined scopes of the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala, Iraq.
Welcoming submissions from around the globe, JKAS prioritizes original research that has not been previously published. All contributions are presented in English, promoting global accessibility and dissemination of knowledge. The journal upholds a commitment to immediate online availability upon publication, eliminating subscription barriers for widespread open access.
JKAS emphasizes the importance of intellectual sharing. Thus, it agrees with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The articles are accessible immediately upon publication with no embargo period, ensuring no delays in access. Additionally, the authors typically retain copyright to their work. On the other hand, the journal is granted the right to distribute the work under the CC BY 4.0 license, allowing others to use the content freely as long as proper attribution is given to the original authors. There are no additional restrictions on using the content beyond those described by the above license.
