Abstract

       Linear programing is a mathematical technique used in the operation research. The aim of using linear programing is allocation of limited resources on an individual farm or state farms for profit maximization or coast minimization problems. The linear programing model was used for planning growth model in agricultural sectors. Waist province as a case study. In this study two currencies were used, local (I.D.) and foreign currency (U.S. Dollar) respectively. Data were collected from ministry of agriculture, planning committee and many research studies.

It was found that the value of the objective function was 211746.857 million (I.D.) or 138.810 million (U.S. Dollar) from the optimal solution which included: corn, sunflower, wheat and barley.
