About the Journal

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

It is a great honor for me to introduce myself as the new editor-in-chief of Al-Bahith (The Researcher) Journal and to write this statement in my capacity as its new editor-in-chief. Our vision for the Journal is to publish solid research in the humanities disciplines and within a thoughtful scientific framework, to broaden the outlook towards solid humanities studies, with a tangible impact. Al-Bahith Journal seeks to enrich the Arab library with studies of solid academic value.

Achieving leadership in international publishing in the various fields of humanities and social sciences, and providing the best to researchers in terms of arbitration, review, follow-up, and publishing processes. Our staff are working to create an ideal state of peer review for all research submitted to the journal, by an elite group of competent peer colleagues who are capable of producing original and standard final research.

The Journal is serving the process of scientific research, and contributing to enriching knowledge, through publishing research and studies related to the humanitarian and social fields and fields at home and abroad.

The Journal in the College of Education for the Humanities is considered one of the distinguished academic journals that contribute effectively and distinctly to the dissemination of academic scientific research in various human knowledge specializations in Arabic and English. It is a quarterly Journal that receives scientific research by researchers in their various human specializations to spread knowledge, and cultural awareness, achieving ways of communicating knowledge, and keeping pace with contemporary scientific development,

We have also invited a group of distinguished scholars as members of the editorial board, who will serve as frequent reviewers. Editorial Board members will serve for three years and will bring international outreach as well as strength and cohesion to manuscript review and editorial processes. We expect that the Associate Editors and Editorial Board members will form a growing community of practice with constructive interaction with their peers, which will support the journal in the years to come. We intend to recruit more new members to this Journal.

We are committed to exerting all our efforts to serve and support the journal and enhance its reputation and position as a leading international journal in the humanities. In doing so, we will always need and value the comments and feedback of all our contributors and readers.

The research evaluation process is confidential and is critical to our publication process. Therefore, the identities of our referees are not disclosed to the authors or other referees throughout or after the review process.

Evaluators must treat all materials associated with the review process as confidential. This material includes the manuscript itself (including supplementary material, where applicable), any relevant materials provided by the authors, reviewer reports, and any other correspondence. Furthermore, reviewers may not use any materials provided to them as part of the evaluation process for their papers. Although reviewers may consult and seek advice from other researchers or colleagues, the reviewer must ensure that this material is kept confidential. In such cases, we ask referees to provide the names and contact information of the researchers consulted.

In conclusion, we hope that Al-Bahith Journal will be a vital tributary and a vibrant artery for scientific research in our academic environment.
