Instructions for Manuscript Preparation
- General Guidelines:
Manuscripts submitted to the Kerbala Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (KJPS) should be original, unpublished work, not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Authors are encouraged to follow the guidelines outlined in the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) for formatting and citation style.
Kindly provide the abstract and title of your research paper translated into Arabic. Contact Information: Please include your phone number and email address for correspondence.
- Manuscript Structure:
Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, all author names with affiliations, corresponding author's contact information (including email address), and any acknowledgments.
Abstract: Provide a concise abstract of no more than 250 words summarizing the key objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.
Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords that accurately represent the content of the manuscript.
Main Text: Organize the main text into sections such as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Subheadings within sections are encouraged to enhance clarity.
References: Cite all references in the text following Harvard style guidelines by Mendeley software.
- Formatting Guidelines:
Use a clear and legible font Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced throughout the manuscript.
Set margins to 1-inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
Number all pages consecutively, starting with the title page.
Figures and tables should be placed within the manuscript near the first mention in the text and appropriately labeled with captions.
- Figures and Tables:
Figures (e.g., graphs, charts, photographs) and tables should be of high quality and submitted as separate files in common formats (e.g., .jpeg, .png, .xlsx).
Ensure that figures and tables are cited in the text and numbered consecutively in the order they appear.
Provide clear and concise captions for each figure and table, including any necessary explanations or legends.
- Ethical Considerations:
Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research and publication, including obtaining necessary permissions for any copyrighted material used in the manuscript.
Disclose any potential conflicts of interest, funding sources, or ethical approvals obtained for the research conducted.
- Manuscript Submission:
Submit manuscripts electronically through the online submission system available on the KJPS website.
Ensure that all required documents, including the manuscript file, figures/tables, and any supplementary materials, are submitted according to the journal's guidelines.
- Review Process:
All submitted manuscripts will undergo peer review by experts in the field to assess scientific validity, originality, and relevance.
Authors will be notified of the review outcome and may be required to make revisions based on reviewer comments before final acceptance for publication.
