Industrial activity represents an important pillar in the process of achieving comprehensive economic and social development, as it includes a diverse series of production processes, which in turn ensures a high rate of economic growth, through which the material and human resources available in the country can be mobilized in an optimal manner, in addition to the fact that this sector, through following up on the experience Historical development has made an effective contribution to the process of technological development and economic prosperity in general. Industry is the essential starting point in any experiment that aims to bring about economic and social development and reach an advanced stage of development that qualifies it to continue development and make it sustainable. Therefore, industry in developing countries in particular, including Iraq, represents the core of the development process because it contributes to raising production efficiency and the ability to Absorption of unemployment rates. The production function is an important measure to determine the stages that the manufacturing industry goes through and to reveal the factors affecting production, as well as being an important indicator of economic growth to reach specific production policies, which leads to the development of this vital sector as it is the most effective sector in influencing the rest of the activities and branches. The experiences and expertise gained have demonstrated that the study of industrial production functions has great economic importance by providing all information related to the production process and showing the extent of the contribution of each of the common production elements in the production process.
