Abstract

This research examines the role of charismatic leadership in achieving competitive advantage through the effect of the charismatic leadership role in both the comprehensive cost strategy. The excellence strategy and the focus strategy through linking charismatic leadership and the three strategies, where the Sama and Salsabil mineral water laboratories in Karbala were chosen to study the leadership styles in both laboratories, and by virtue of their competitive nature in the labor market and the influence of those leaders on the strategies that included the research sample and accordingly, the use of The appropriate tool is the questionnaire form and its application
On a sample representative of the study population, then procedures for correcting the tool and appropriate statistical analysis were carried out to answer the study’s questions, and then arriving at a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that the charismatic leadership style is one of the important methods towards directing the efforts of employees to achieve the highest levels of performance, in addition to the prominent role of this style in determining The optimal competitive strategies for both factories. The most important recommendations are the need to provide the opportunity for managers, department heads, and production line supervisors to highlight the charismatic leadership role and work to develop and enhance competitive strategies for both genders. The charismatic personality is a leadership personality who possesses a wide range of talents and abilities to understand followers and how to draw strategies and policies aimed at the success of the organization and achieving its goals. In fact, this personality is rare in practical reality, but this does not negate its existence in multiple forms, as charismatic leadership personalities have emerged who were able to achieve the best results in various fields of life and develop human behavior. One of the greatest examples of this is the personality of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Napoleon, and many of these personalities, and it is observed that they practice Some methods of charismatic leadership at different administrative levels and in various organizations, but they are ignorant of calling it (charismatic leadership) as a term. On this basis, the research assumes the existence of a problem, which is that how can charismatic leadership achieve a competitive advantage in organizations, which contributes to their development? Therefore, the research aims to highlight the role Charismatic leadership in developing business organizations and its reflection in changing images of history. To achieve the goal of the research, a questionnaire form was relied upon as a research tool, using some statistical methods to analyze the results of this research. The research included several axes, the first of which dealt with the concept and types of charismatic leadership. The second included the concept of competitive advantage and its dimensions, and the third specialized in analyzing the results. The research reached some conclusions. Both laboratories under study deal with strategy as a leadership style, but in varying proportions. The recommendations focused on the possibility of linking charismatic leadership and competitive strategies, especially for the Sama Mineral Water Factory.
