Objective of this research is to identify the sources of work stress experienced by workers in the government sector in an environment of non-governmental organizations in Iraq and their impact on performance.
It has developed eight hypotheses to test the contrast and the relationship between the variables of the research, and of B (personal characteristics, and sources of work stress, and the performance of work) using a number of statistical methods the most important test (f, t) and chi square test (Ka 2) was reached on a set of conclusions which, understanding the level of work stress at least up the age groups and length of service, and the presence of significant differences due to different stages of both educational attainment and years of service and the number of courses and most of the sources of work stress, and the existence of a correlation between the sources of work stress and work performance and therefore developed a set of recommendations.
