At the beginning of the 1st of January 2026, the Karbala Journal of Medicine will be rescheduled to publish three times a year (April, August, and December) instead of two. This decision is based on a highly advanced manuscript and an increased manuscript number. The author and quality of the manuscript are the priority of the Editorial Board of the journal.

 

On 19 Nov. 2024, it is our pleasure to announce that the Karbala Journal of Medicine has been indexed with Crossref. From now on, each article published in the Karbala Journal of Medicine has a specific DOI. 

 

The Karbala Journal of Medicine updates the information in the Guidelines for the Author. New instructions for article preparation have been followed. A template file with all the required details for the preparation of the manuscript is freely available in the guideline section. 

The Karbala Journal of Medicine has a new management system that tries to respond very fast to the author. Authors are strictly required to prepare their manuscripts based on the instructions of the journal to get a fast positive response. Although the editorial board has difficulty with the reviewers, hard work with multiple choices of alternative reviewers is the best solution.
