Reviewers Instructions
A peer reviewer’s main responsibility is to assess manuscripts within their area of expertise by carefully reading, evaluating, and providing constructive and impartial feedback to the author. Reviewers are expected to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the paper, suggest ways to improve its quality and clarity, and assess the originality, accuracy, and overall relevance of the work.
Before starting the review, please consider the following:
Relevance to your expertise:
Ensure that the manuscript falls within your field of specialization. If the topic does not align with your expertise, kindly inform the editor promptly and, if possible, recommend another suitable reviewer.
Availability and timeline:
Confirm that you can complete the review within the standard two-week period. If additional time is needed, please notify the editor in advance or propose an alternative reviewer.
Conflict of interest:
Disclose any potential conflicts of interest before proceeding with the review. Having a conflict does not necessarily exclude you from participating, but transparency with the editor is essential. If you have any doubts, contact the editorial office for clarification.
Reviewers are expected to follow the Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.
Comments directed privately to the editor are welcome, but they should not contradict the main feedback provided to the author.
