Abstract

The current research aims to measure the authentic personality among university students. To achieve this goal, the researcher selected a sample of (100) male and female students. The researcher adopted the authentic personality scale of the theorist Kearns and Goldman (the authentic personality) (Goldman & Kermis, 2006). The researcher also conducted a statistical analysis of the items and verified the psychometric properties (validity and reliability). After confirming the validity of the tool through indicators of validity and reliability, and applying this tool to the research sample, then collecting and statistically processing the data, the current research concluded that the current research sample possesses an authentic personality. In light of these results reached in the current research, a set of recommendations and proposals were developed. Keywords: authentic personality, university students.
